Missions - UMCOR

Emergency response to disaster is managed in the United Methodist Church by United Methodist Commission on Relief (UMCOR).  Our goal this year is to expand the awareness and training in the congregation for participation on Disaster Teams.  UMCOR is funded through our apportionments and UMCOR teams are often the first responding to disaster situations such as hurricanes or flooding.  We will be promoting available training sessions, in the conference, with the target of have a trained group of volunteers at NHUMC.
