“The Unexpected” series begins December 1. This four week Advent series focuses on how God gives His best gifts in unexpected ways. The Christmas season is a reminder of the gift that God gives us through His son Jesus. The prophet Micah gives Israel hope while they are under the threat of violence and oppression, sharing God’s promise that from the insignificant and inconsequential town of Bethlehem will come the world’s greatest blessing, Christ our Lord. When the Messiah, the Lord Jesus comes, His greatness will span the entire world. The unexpected is what God does best. Please join us as we celebrate the season and God’s greatest gift!
Whether you are new to NHUMC or you’re looking for a new Sunday School Class, Exploring Our Faith would love to have you join us!
We are one of the larger classes, consisting of singles and couples, 50 and up. Format is Bible-based studies, using a mix of contemporary authors, videos, presentations as well as personal testimonies and Traditional Service Sermon discussions. This class is participatory and strives for lively, Biblically based discussion.
