We are excited to meet you! To help make your first visit a simple process, we have laid out all of the basics. Below you find information about some of our ministries and programs they have going on during our weekend services!

During COVID we offer hybrid worship in person and virtual worship.

What to Expect

ARRIVAL AT NHUMC

We're located at 3703 N. Loop 1604 E. We recommend getting here 15 minutes early.

FIND A SPOT

Parking is pretty simple here, with one path in and one path out. There are special needs and handicap spaces in the front.

GOT KIDS?

If you have kids, a friendly First Time Family host will walk you through the Kid's check in process.

TREAT YOURSELF

Grab a free cup of coffee and a cookie. On occasion, breakfast tacos are available.

WHAT TO WEAR

From flip-flops to wingtips, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress it up—we'll be happy to see you.

COME SAY HI

We'd love to meet you! You can fill out a Connection Card and meet some awesome volunteers and staff members. You'll receive a welcome bag and more information about how to get plugged in!

WORSHIP STYLE

Get ready for some awesome worship services! You can expect to be led in energetic worship songs, hear some announcements, and then a relevant message from one of our pastors.

Welcome

We are so glad that the Lord has brought you to Northern Hills United Methodist Church. Our mission is to "REACH others for Jesus, TEACH and learn the ways of Jesus, and LOVE the world for which Jesus died, so that God is glorified through his Son." As a result of this mission, God has opened spaces for our congregation where we can interact with the community. This connection allows us to learn how God is moving in the world and how we are called to be involved in it. This guide provides a way to learn about all the opportunities you can get involved in, both as a receiver and/or participant of these ministries.

We encourage you to read prayerfully the information and listen for his guidance, as to where the Lord leads you to serve and participate. Please reach out to the specific person that is listed as the contact person to get more details, and then, let the Spirit use you as an amazing member of the Body of Christ.

Children

Calling all kiddos! At NHUMC our goal is to create a fun, safe and age appropriate environment for kids to learn about Jesus. Our team works hard to present the bible in a creative and fun filled way to leave a lasting impression on your child. Our hope is that each week your child leaves church feeling God's love and knowing more about Him. While kids learn about Jesus, they are in a secure and safe environment. Every adult in our Children's Ministry department has been interviewed, trained and has a current background check on file. First time visiting our Children's Ministry area? When facing the building, we're on the right-hand side. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the registration form.
